1992
Scott Goodyear was the driver of the Lola Chevy #15, in the bright blue
and silver MacKenzie Financial car. Scott Goodyear's
father Don Goodyear, introduced us to Jim O'Donnell, President of Mackenzie Financial,
the major sponsor on the Walker car that year. Mr.
O'Donnell commissioned a series of 1992 cars, for presentation at the Vancouver
Molson Indy dinner, in September of that year.
Names like
Bobby Unser, Brian Williams, Scott Goodyear, Derrick Walker, to mention
just a few, were recipients of the MacKenzie 1/10th. scale models.
A second series of models were commissioned by Mr. Jim O'Donnell, for presentation at the end of the
1992 season also. |
